Rogers defines unconditional positive regard as one of the essential attitudes for a psychologist. This is also true of my work as a Coach. The client-centered therapy depicts empathy, positive regard and authenticity as a foundation for change, these aspects also characterize my approach to coaching.

Kanfer & Goldstein introduced cognitive elements into Behaviour Therapy. You find some of these elements integrated into my coaching, such as reframing or stopping critical thought processes. Leaving behind obstructive thoughts or behavioral routines are examples of issues being dealt with in coaching. For me as a coach cognitive elements also open the door to change.

During my coaching sessions the coachee opens up to new perspectives - taking a good look at his own system, broaden it and abolish blockades in the system, these are genuine coaching elements. Systemic questions are an important coaching tool. To adopt a different perspective often opens up new possibilities.

My business studies provided me with an understanding of economic connections, interdependencies and general conditions on a theoretical level. During my time working in managerial positions I gathered valuable experience which included confrontation with the limitations and possibilities encountered by managers.
